Letter from the President

Dear Tri Deltas,

I am so glad that you have found your way to the NYC Alumnae Chapter! Wether you are re-connecting with us after some time away or finding us for the first time, we welcome you with open minds and warm hearts.

The NYC Alumnae Chapter was founded on June 1, 1904 - a short 16 years after Sarah Ida Shaw, Eleanor Dorcas Pond, Isabel Morgan Breed, and Florence Isabelle Stewart founded Tri Delta on November 27, 1888. Since then, our chapter has pursued excellence in membership experience, philanthropic efforts, professional networking, and more! Whether we are meeting in Central Park for a picnic, sipping hot cocoa while enjoying winter markets, raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, volunteering in our communities, reaching out in tough times, or celebrating achievements - our members always come first. We do this by leaning into our Tri Delta values of truth, self-sacrifice, and friendship, as well as compassion, innovation, and fun!

We are fortunate to be situated in the city that never sleeps, which means our chapter is constantly changing and growing, as the city and our members inform our operations. We are also closely connected to surrounding Alumnae chapters in the Tri-State area and beyond, which allows us to connect with Tri Deltas all over the eastern United States. There is no shortness of sisterhood with the NYC Alumnae Chapter.

So, come experience it all for yourself! From personal experience I can say that joining the NYC Alumnae Chapter made my move to NYC that much easier and exciting. Please feel free to reach out with any questions by emailing: trideltaalumnaenyc@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you and cannot wait for our first meeting!

Loyally,

Andi Vilaboy
